Data recovery in Vilnius

Lost photos, documents or business files? I recover data from HDDs, SSDs, USB drives, memory cards, NAS and RAID systems after accidental deletion or storage failure.

Important: if the drive makes unusual noises, disappears from the system or has been dropped, avoid repeatedly powering it on.

What files do you need back?

01 · Personal files

Photos and videos

Family archives on a computer drive, photos on a memory card or videos on external storage.

02 · Work and study

Documents and projects

Work documents, spreadsheets, drawings, study materials and other important files.

03 · For businesses

Accounting files and business archives

Accounting files, project archives and shared documents on drives, NAS or RAID systems.

When can I help?

The approach depends on the storage type and what happened to it.

01 · HDD

Hard drives

HDD not detected, slow, freezing or making unusual noises. I also assess bad sectors and other physical faults.

02 · SSD

SSD and NVMe

The drive is no longer detected by BIOS, the OS will not boot, files are inaccessible or the storage is unstable.

03 · RAID / NAS

RAID and NAS systems

Damaged RAID configuration, errors on multiple disks or inaccessible NAS data.

04 · USB / SD

USB drives and memory cards

A USB drive or card is wet, broken, not detected or inaccessible due to file system damage.

05 · Logical faults

Deleted files and formatted storage

Accidentally deleted files, formatted drives, damaged file systems or missing partitions.

06 · Unusual cases

More complex situations

Previous attempts did not give the result you needed, or you want a second opinion? I can assess these cases too.

Data recovery using donor parts

A physically damaged HDD may require donor parts. Depending on the fault, I replace the head assembly or adapt the electronics.

01 · Compatibility

Selecting a donor drive

I select a donor by model, drive family, head configuration and other technical parameters. Matching capacity alone is not enough.

02 · Mechanical faults

Head assembly replacement

I replace faulty read/write heads with a compatible donor assembly. Strict cleanliness is essential, and the condition of the platter surfaces affects the outcome.

03 · Electronic faults

PCB and ROM data

I assess whether to repair the PCB or replace it. When adapting donor electronics, I transfer the original ROM data and individual parameters if needed.

The outcome depends on the damage and previous reading attempts. Full recovery cannot be guaranteed.

Need your data urgently?

Work stopped because important information is inaccessible? Call and explain what you need and by when. I will check whether priority work is possible.

How the work is carried out

Four main stages, from the first conversation to delivery of recovered files.

Step 1Initial conversationWe discuss what happened, the device type and symptoms. You identify the most important data.
Step 2DiagnosticsI diagnose the damage and prepare an appropriate sequence of actions.
Step 3Agreeing the workWe agree the stages and cost, including donor parts if needed. I begin only with your approval.
Step 4RecoveryWhere technically possible, I first image the storage device. I recover files from the copy, check the result and prepare it for delivery.

Frequently asked questions

What determines the recovery price?
The fault, media condition, reading complexity and need for donor parts.
Should I try recovery myself?
Recovery software may help with logical errors on healthy storage. If a drive disappears, freezes, makes noises or has many bad sectors, further attempts may worsen its condition.
Do you work with business data?
Yes. I accept business drives, NAS, RAID and other storage containing accounting documents, projects and other important files.
What if a specialist laboratory is needed?
I first explain why a specialist laboratory is needed, then agree the next steps with you.
